00:00On paper, a draw away at a very well drilled Burnley side would have been a point to be pleased with for Sunderland.
00:07However, Wills and Isidore's two saved penalties made the draw feel less satisfying than it perhaps would have done.
00:13The striker was inconsolable at full-time, having shouldered the responsibility of the situation.
00:19Isidore and Sunderland, however, do not have long to rest on their misfortune,
00:23with a midweek fixture away at Derby County quickly on the horizon.
00:27For Regis Lebris, his task is simply one of making sure that his players can turn these negative emotions into positive ones,
00:34with victory away at Pride Park in a very winnable fixture.
00:40Lebris made clear, though, that despite the late heartbreak at Turfmoor,
00:43his players would not need any more motivation from which to bounce back.
00:47I'm not sure that we have to motivate the players because they are in a good place,
00:53they want to win every game, and the mindset of the team was very balanced at the end
01:02because we felt that we were very competitive in that game.
01:06Burnley is a tough place, they were third in the league,
01:09and during the whole game we progressively dominated that opponent, so we were proud of it.
01:19So for the confidence I think it's good, and on the opposite side we were a little bit frustrated
01:25because we had many chances to win the game.
01:27So the mindset was balanced and the league is very long,
01:33so I think at the end we were more confident than disappointed.
01:40It was evident instead that Lebris, despite the frustration of the penalties,
01:44was encouraged with Sundlund's performance and especially how they ended the game.
01:50It shows that we are consistent, that we have good qualities,
01:53and we are not in the 3, 4, 5 first games of the league now,
02:00it was the 38th I think, 28th,
02:04so it's clear that the teams are now able to analyse every opponent
02:12and the stability of the performance is now really clear.
02:20The main question now is to finish the game,
02:23because when we can be dominant like that away especially,
02:27we have to kill the game when possible.
02:30In the Championship, games come thick and fast though,
02:33which for Lebris and Sundlund could be seen as a useful remedy for the events of Friday night.
02:38Yeah, it's a good opportunity,
02:40but the problem we could have is that it's difficult to work between games,
02:45because we can analyse the game,
02:48but we don't have time on the pitch to develop different areas of our game,
02:54so it's quick, but at the same time I think the players like that.
