Another SOE search in Tobago by police, another claim of missing monies. This time in the village of Argyle Tobago. Mother of seven Nicole Melville told TV6 News officers broke down her door, entered and searched her home in the wee hours of Thursday morning.


Now Melville says she will have to replace damaged doors and furniture.

00:00Before my foot even dreamed to reach the ground, his door pulled open and I locked everything.
00:07The policewoman ran into me and the next police.
00:11I turned and said, excuse me.
00:13The man said, shut up!
00:15Ms Melville said her kitchen and living room were also searched.
00:20Her three children, ages 6, 10 and 12, were asleep in their rooms at the time.
00:26Then the police officer asked me, over there is my kitchen and my joint room.
00:31When I looked, he said, where is the key?
00:33I said, look, it's hanging on the lock right there.
00:35He did take it off and he opened.
00:37When he opened it, I saw the police running inside my kitchen and my joint room.
00:42And they're only hearing, go on, go on, go on.
00:45So when I go to say, excuse me again, the officer from holding the key, shut up! Shut up!
00:51Melville said she was not told by the lawman the reason for the search.
00:56Now, Ms Melville, at any time during the search, did officers indicate why their presence?
01:04No. No, they did not ask me why they come to search for nothing.
01:11Is this the first time officers came to your home?
01:15Yes, this is the first time I experienced police searching my home.
01:19Senior police officers, when contacted, told TV6 News Ms Melville was told the search was for illegal firearms and dangerous drugs.
01:28Officers told TV6 News this is not the first time officers had caused to visit the home of Ms Melville.
