00:05That's when the 2026th edition of the P&T Great Race takes place from the foreshore to Store Bay.
00:10One of the boats in the 60-mile class is not in slow motion,
00:13which is driven by Nikolai Aaron Isaac, who's looking forward to the event.
00:17Yeah, I would say 100 percent this year.
00:20Last year we didn't make it, unfortunately.
00:22But this year we would have a chance of making it to Tobago.
00:25I'm just happy to be a part of the Great Race.
00:28I'm fully confident in the boat and my throttle man.
00:32He will be guiding us as we go down to Tobago.

00:37Also part of the team is Kern Coltis, who's the vessel's throttle man.
00:41Being experienced in this field, this time of the year is quite special for him.

00:47It's the greatest race that we have.
00:50So it's always a joy getting prepared and hoping to reach.

00:57The T&T Great Race is the country's most prestigious powerboat racing event,
01:02and it attracts many spectators.
01:04Having said that, Coltis hopes that it continues to grow.
01:08Yes, well, the event, if you keep up to speed with it,
01:12is very well known over the world.
01:15And we have to keep the flame burning.
01:17So I'll encourage each and every one to come out and support the Great Race.
