00:00My name's Ed, what's your name?
00:01I'm James.
00:02Hi James, nice to meet you.
00:03Good to meet you.
00:04Good to meet you too.
00:05Well I think we need to make sure we're looking after people in our community, whatever their
00:08needs and here you've got adults who are vulnerable with additional needs, but this enables them
00:14to contribute, it gives them some skills, it gives them an ability to put something
00:21back into sight and they really do, they clearly enjoy it and it's clearly a success and I
00:26think we should look at the amazing contributions that people with different needs can give,
00:31whether it's the people we've seen today or others.
00:35If you look at the whole debate about special education needs and disability, there's a
00:38real problem, particularly in schools and colleges, where the last government massively
00:43underfunded and didn't get the policies right and the new government's got to tackle it
00:48and Liberal Democrat MPs like Charlotte have been making that case for their areas and
00:54whether it's in East Anglia or across the country frankly, we're finding that schools
00:59and colleges really haven't got the support from government, local councils haven't had
01:03the support for government and they've got to act far more quickly.
01:08I worked at a factory once and when it broke down they used to make us roll Scotch eggs.
