00:00I'm really delighted to be announcing £3 billion of investment in new specialist places.
00:05So that's adaptions to classrooms, it's new purpose-built spaces for children with additional needs,
00:11which will help thousands of children get a really good education.
00:16And I've seen the difference this is making, you know, resource spaces,
00:19special spaces for children with special educational needs,
00:22and how that has meant children who were out of school have been able to come into school.
00:26I've talked to a mum whose child was out of school for over a year,
00:30and this space had helped her child into mainstream,
00:33but then he'd gone on to go back into a full classroom.
00:37So these are really transformative,
00:39and it's a big moment in supporting children with special educational needs.
