Mixed views on the ground in Tobago since the announcement of Energy Minister Stuart Young as the next Prime Minister, following a vote of 11 to 9.

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley made the announcement of the poll on Monday following the Parliamentary Caucus retreat at the Tobago Plantations.

00:00Don't like him. He has no right to be there. Rowley has made a poor choice as a
00:05matter of fact as far as I'm concerned by Rowley talking about stepping down as
00:09Prime Minister he has caused the PNM to implode. For all these years all those
00:14bad decisions, no minister, whether he Penelope Beckles, anybody else, no
00:20minister has come against any decision made by Keith Christopher Rowley of the
00:25PNM. Well the Honourable Stuart Young has been acting as Prime Minister
00:29for some time and so far I think he has done well and if he is the Prime
00:37Minister's choice or and the voters because you know they would have had a
00:42vote on that 9-11 or something like that so the majority rules.
00:49All I can say is don't vote PNM. Don't give them a next chance. Look for
00:55betterment and that's all I can say for now.
