00:08I don't know what his problem was, but you know, he didn't everybody playing in that

00:11game today.

00:12What's he to expect?

00:14And Navy beating them.

00:15It was really something like I said on the air, I'm like, it's Oklahoma.

00:20I don't care how good they are, how average they are, how anything they are.

00:24They're losing the Navy in a ball game.

00:27Yeah.

00:28And let's not forget, they also are just joined the SEC.

00:30So that's another thing that Navy can hang on their hat is the idea that, okay, we not

00:34only beat a program like Oklahoma Blue Blood, we beat an SEC team now.

00:38So that adds a little bit more to what they were able to accomplish the season.

00:4210 wins was outstanding for Navy this year.

00:44And I mean, for them to do this, you know, in this game, I think it just meant a lot.

00:48Again, you can say what you will about Venables.

00:50I mean, going for it for two at the end, rather than going, you know, rather than kicking

00:54the extra point and going overtime.

00:56I mean, I think that's just a coach trying to get more from what he has out there.

00:59And again, his team was missing a lot of players because of guys who've been to the transfer

01:03port.

01:04Cry me a river.

01:05You know, I'm sick of hearing about that stupid transfer portal.

01:10I'd rather watch Dr. Pepper commercials than hear about it anymore.

01:13I really like every game.

01:15Like now I'm hearing about Washington State tonight.

01:17They have nobody playing.

01:19And you know, well, then why play the game?

01:22Then why play the game?

01:24Ask Marshall that.

01:25You know, Marshall, you know, dropped out of its bowl game because it said, you know,

01:28we didn't have enough players to, you know, to make it smart.

01:31You know, why go in this game and embarrass ourselves if we don't have enough players

01:35to actually make it make it feasible?

01:37So I mean, I don't think it's going to get to that point all the time.

01:40I think at some point they're going to have to make some adjustments to the portal thing

01:43because they can't be doing this as you go into these bowl games because you're just

01:47seeing how these teams over left and right are losing their quarterbacks or losing their

01:50top players.

01:51And then what happens is you've got some teams where they let the guys in the transfer portal

01:55play or practice during bowl week.

01:57You know what I mean?

01:58And some coaches aren't that nice.

02:00Those guys are gone.

02:01They're off the roster, not even on the online roster.

02:03So I think something's going to happen to change all this because I'd like to see some

02:07of these games where there were players who actually we saw during the season maybe could

02:10step up and make plays.

02:11It's great to see some of these teams like Miami with Cam Ward, guys like that who are

02:15willing to play in these games.
