On the lighter side...

Moka/Boissiere Strikers, better known as MB2 Strikers, won the Diego Martin Borough Cup recently.

The action took place in Carenage and our cameras were there for all the action.

00:00After weeks of toiling, it came down to the big one at the Karanaj Recreation
00:04Ground in Hague Street where the Diego Martin Borough Cup 3rd place and finals
00:08were being held. Starting with a 3rd place playoff, Karanaj Sharks came out on
00:15top against Bagatelle Blue Basin Lions. In the end, they won the clash 2-0.
00:22And then came the final with Diego Martin Mayor Akila Glasgow Warner
00:28meeting with the players of Moca Borussia Strikers and Pitti Valley
00:31Cochrit. And the Moca Borussia Strikers, also known as MB2 Strikers, would take
00:37the lead with this header doing the trick. And then one more from the penalty
00:43spot as they took this one by two goals to nothing.
00:48Then came the presentation ceremony with Karanaj Sharks earning $15,000 for
00:53finishing third. Runners-up Pitti Valley Cochrit received a check for $20,000
00:58for their efforts. And then the top prize with Moca Borussia Strikers being
01:03awarded $50,000 and the winner's trophy as they were crowned champions.
