00:10DBM Director Gerald Handa said, the incentive is a recognition to the contributions of government

00:18The SRI also serves as an early Christmas gift for government employees, particularly
00:22teachers, military and uniformed personnel.
00:25Eligible recipients can receive a maximum amount of up to Php 20,000.
00:30Meanwhile, Department of Education Secretary Sani Angara said, this marked a historic achievement
00:35for DEPEDD, granting the highest SRI ever to its workforce thanks, of course, to President
00:41Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s unwavering support for teachers and education staff.
00:47In 2022, only Php 15,000 per qualified teacher received their SRI.
00:57Last year, in 2023, it was Php 18,000.
01:02Now in 2024, in AO27, the maximum SRI is Php 20,000.
