00:00The Department of Education is now starting to distribute service recognition incentives to public teachers across the country.

00:08First, Education Secretary Sonny Angara and Budget Secretary Amena Pangandaman

00:14gave 20,000 pesos of SRI to teachers this 2024.

00:20This is also in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:24Angara and Pangandaman thanked the President and promised to give SRI to teachers and non-teaching personnel of DepEd.

00:33This is still part of the support and recognition of the Marcos Jr. Administration

00:38in the service given by teachers to students.

00:42Aside from teachers, uniformed personnel will also receive 20,000 pesos this day.
