00:46What's more important to him is his daily expenses and monthly payments.

01:01These needs in the health of government employees, like Mr. Bernabe, seems to have an answer.
01:09Because the Department of Budget and Management, or DBM, has already approved the medical allowance for government employees,
01:17which will be implemented in 2025.

01:25But there are some qualifications in the status of employment, including the medical assistance,
01:32not counting the contract of service and job orders.
01:36According to DBM, the medical allowance can be added to the health maintenance organization, or HMO,
01:44of government employees who have it.
01:46But DBM also said that it can also be cash for those who have their own HMO
01:52and those who pay their own medical expenses, which will only be paid by the hospital,
01:58including emergency care, tests, and medicines.
02:02For those who do not have an HMO, they should first leave their place,
02:07no HMO branch or company, and refuse their HMO applications.

02:21for adding to the medical allowance, which is not only a benefit,
02:26but also an assurance that a healthy worker will be able to perform his duties as a government employee.
