00:00The Department of Budget and Management, or DBM, announced that President Ferdinand R.

00:04Marcus Jr. has approved the release of the Service Recognition Incentive,

00:08or SRI, for government employees in 2024. DBM Secretary Amena Pangandaman confirmed

00:14teachers will receive the full 20,000 peso SRI, a first in history, while uniformed personnel

00:20will also get the full amount. For other employees, the SRI will depend on their agency's funds.

00:27In the meantime, DBM approved salary upgrades for government psychologists

00:31effective January 1, 2025, to support mental health initiatives.
