00:27through alternative methods,
00:31President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. passed the Republic Act 12124
00:37or Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program.
00:41An individual can be given an academic degree
00:44based on their knowledge gained from formal and informal studies or training
00:49and experience in work.
00:52But the applicant must not be below 23 years of age
00:56who has completed a secondary education that can be proven through a high school diploma,
01:03result of the Philippine Educational Placement Test,
01:06Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency Assessment,
01:10and certification.
01:12They must be proven qualified to enter a college or to be given an academic degree.
01:17It's better because, of course, you also worked hard for your profession for many years.

01:32The Commission on Higher Education of CHED
