00:00We will be joined by Winona in a food establishment where they serve Filipino food.
00:06But they don't just serve Filipino food because Filipino food with a twist
00:12here in Islas Restaurant located in Angeles City, Pampanga.
00:17What's up Food Explorers! Let's go and eat!
00:21We will start with Dili's.
00:24We know that at home, we just fry it and dip it in vinegar.
00:31But today, there's a twist because it's glazed with sweet, sour, and spicy.
00:36So, let's go and eat!
00:40It is spicy.
00:42This is delicious.
00:43I think my dad will really enjoy this because my dad and I always eat fish together.
00:49So, I think I'll bring him here.
00:52We will eat Pansit Sariwa.
00:56It is inspired by Lumpiang Sariwa with a little Vietnamese touch to it because of the noodles.
01:02They also added mango.
01:04So, we're going to pour this.
01:10I think this is my first time trying something like this.
01:13So, I'm excited to see what flavors we'll get.
01:20It's different.
01:22I can taste all the flavors.
01:26I can taste the cilantro, the carrots, the mango especially.
01:35I think the mango has a good touch to it because I can really taste the sweetness to it.
01:41It's not too sweet.
01:43It's not too plain.
01:46This is good.
01:47It's good and healthy.
01:51Food explorers, let's eat!
01:54Here, we have Talangka Rice.
01:57As you can see, it has orange bits, crab meat, and aligay incorporated into the rice.
02:05We prepared it with grilled beef, spicy achara, and two dipping sauces.
02:12It really compliments the rice.
02:15The beef is so tender.
02:18It's so good to eat.
02:20I also want to try their barbecue sauce.
02:23I like the barbecue sauce so much.
02:27Next up is Tortang Talong.
02:30It's unique because it has basil and bean sprouts.
02:34So, it adds a freshness to it.
02:37I don't usually eat Tortang Talong, but I enjoyed it.
02:43I'm not biased, but I really enjoyed it.
02:47It's okay without the sauce.
02:49It's really just clean and simple, which I love.
02:54Last but not the least, Nilasing na Hipon.
02:58Usually, they only use shrimp in Nilasing na Hipon,
03:02but here, they use prawns.
03:05There are two sauces, vinegar and oriental sauce.
03:13Nilasing na Hipon is straight to the point.
03:17When I added oriental sauce, it adds a lot of flavors to it.
03:23Oriental sauce is kind of sour and sweet,
03:28so it's perfect here.
03:30I think it goes well with Talangka na Kanin.
03:35I love Filipino food because you can feel the love and work you put into it.
03:40There are a lot of different kinds of food,
03:43but you know that you'll come back to Filipino food.
