Cyclist Finds Puppy In The Middle Of Nowhere

Puppy was found in the middle of nowhere — now he’s living his fairytale ending! Hailey told us how her and her husband came across Bonez. Now, he's found his place in their family!

00:01There's nobody around there.

00:03It's miles from the closest civilization.

00:06So we just knew that we had to go back.

00:08It was just my husband and I looking around the bushes,

00:11and I just kind of saw these two eyeballs looking out.

00:14Come here, sweetie.

00:15Oh.

00:16And then he started slowly coming out.

00:18Oh, yummy treats.

00:20We've heard it's a puppy dumping spot.

00:23I think he was sadly put there.

00:25Hello.

00:27We were so shocked by all of that

00:28that it just went perfectly.

00:30We got you.

00:34I feel like the biggest change in his personality

00:36when we got him was how quickly he jumped into puppy mode.

00:40We have a dog.

00:40He opened up with her super quickly.

00:43He started playing with toys that very day

00:45and just being a puppy, which was so fun to see.

00:49He's just been very sweet.

00:51He just wants to be pet.

00:52He just wants to find the comfiest spot.

00:54He wants to lay on the beds, lay on the couches.

00:57He has been so trusting and so good with us.

01:00When we've taken him to the vet, he hasn't had a chip.

01:06They've been wanting a dog for a while.

01:08We Zoomed with them a few times showing it,

01:11and we were like, OK, he's ours.

01:12He's our dog.

01:15We live in California, so it's a 15-hour drive to Colorado.

01:19We were a little bit worried, but as soon

01:21as we got into the hotel, he was jumping on the bed,

01:24and him and Patches were playing around.

01:27He did great.

01:29And when they saw him, they were so excited, especially his mom.

01:32Look at you.

01:36His parents decided to name him Bones.

01:38He's warmed up to them pretty quickly.

01:40We're just excited to see him be a happy dog, as he should be.

01:43He should just be a dog worrying about dog things.

01:49He's been loving Colorado.

01:51He has so much space to run.

01:53It seems like it was fate that we were meant to find him,

01:56and we found him a home.

01:57And it's in the family, so we'll be seeing him

02:00the rest of his life.
