Anticipation has never looked this cute. We spoke to Hannah about how sad Brinkley was when he moved into his new home, until he met the new pup next door!

00:00When he saw her, he was just in love with her.

00:03They were very eager to meet each other.

00:07We chatted with our neighbors, but she was only nine weeks old,

00:11and our neighbors just wanted her to be a little bit older, so we had to wait.

00:15We got a calendar to mark the date that we could officially play with Cedar.

00:20We'd go straight to the calendar before he got his breakfast, before he went outside,

00:23and we would cross off one more day.

00:26When we first moved to our new house, Brinkley was missing all his old friends.

00:30So when Brinkley saw Cedar, he was just super excited to get to have a new friend next door.

00:34During our waiting period, we would try to keep his mind occupied.

00:37We would go to the beach a lot. It's his favorite place.

00:41But he was a little bit down.

00:43It made me really sad to see him sad, so it kind of became a calendar for both of us.

00:50When we would go out into the backyard, you could just tell that they both really wanted to play.

00:55Oh my gosh, you two.

00:57She's kind of getting stuck.

01:00I probably should have stopped it, but I was rooting for her to come over, too.

01:04And finally, the day came.

01:06Look, buddy. Oh my goodness. The day is here.

01:11You get to play with Cedar.

01:13Hey, Cedar.

01:14As soon as our neighbors let Cedar into the fence, they just went crazy.

01:20They're running around playing and just having the best time of their lives.

01:24It makes me so happy that he has a best buddy so close to him now.

01:27They already have lots of play dates planned.

01:31Their relationship gives some confidence that our move was definitely the best decision for him.
