00:00Get that out of there, that darn thing.
00:05Look how sweet he is.
00:07He's really sweet.
00:08We're kidding.
00:09We're not giving him to you for Christmas, but we're finding him a home for Christmas.
00:12I was heading to my granny's house for Christmas dinner.
00:16I stopped at a stoplight and there was a dog walking out into the busy street and he walked
00:23over my console and went in the back and just like laid down.
00:26He's a good boy.
00:27He got picked up by his Uber.
00:28He was waiting for me.
00:30He was so dirty that we couldn't let him in at that point.
00:34He was so sad.
00:35He just was in the corner like with his head down.
00:38Is he crying?
00:39No, I think he's falling asleep.
00:42He's trying not to.
00:45And so we kept going outside and sitting with him.
00:49He was so excited.
00:50Every time we'd go out there, he'd come and sit on our lap.
00:52I think he was just thankful that he was not on the road anymore.
00:56And then we went out and we gave him a bath and he literally just stood there the whole
01:01time.
01:02Good job.
01:03That was really good actually.
01:04He just was like, all right, like this is probably for my best interest.
01:08Good boy.
01:09Good boy.
01:10Come on.
01:11Good boy.
01:12Good job.
01:13He just like laid down and like passed out.
01:21You could tell he was just so tired.
01:26It only took like a day maybe for him to like want to play and like show us his personality.
01:34I think he just knew that he was in a safe place.
01:43He got his shots and everything and I was like, well, you deserve to go pick out a toy
01:47at PetSmart.
01:48Look at all these toys.
01:49You want that one?
01:54He was ready to go.
01:58He picked out his Gator.
01:59That's what he wanted.
02:00You want your toy?
02:01We came home with the Gator and showed my brother and he was like so excited about it,
02:07just running around the room with his alligator.
02:09Is that a toy?
02:16He's just always so silly.
02:18He's so sweet. He like knocks you over with his kisses.
02:24He's very powerful with his love.
02:31My mom loved him.
02:32I've never seen my mom act that way with a dog.
02:36He would dance with my mom in the kitchen.
02:38And he like genuinely, I think, enjoyed it too.
02:42But she had just lost one of our other dogs.
02:44So it was just like not the right time for us.
02:48Do you like it?
02:50Do you want to start the fire?
02:52I was just trying to find him a home.
02:54I had a friend who said her sister was interested.
02:56And so she came over and it was just like love at first sight.
03:01And it was just like a really good match.
03:06So then they moved to New York City.
03:08Okay, have fun.
03:11It was really hard to let him go.
03:13But it soothes any pain you might have to know
03:16that like you made the right choice for them.
03:19Baby's first ocean.
03:21He goes everywhere they go.
03:22He's probably living a better life than me.
03:25I messaged Macy asking if Gus still had his gator.
03:30And she was like, of course.
03:33And sent me a picture.
03:34You can tell it's been well loved.
03:37We FaceTimed last night and he was there with his alligator.
03:43That's like a piece of me that I gave to him.
03:47And I hope that like he still remembers me
03:50and the time that we shared.
03:51And like, that means something to him
03:53because we all loved him so much.
03:59He's so excited.
