She just wanted to find a warm place during a blizzard. Natalia told us about searching through this abandoned house to find her, and how she cuddles up with her new dad on the couch now!

00:00That's apparently where she had been going to stay out of the weather.

00:04There's a row of abandoned houses and every time I pass them I think, you know,

00:09that's just a good place for a dog to hide.

00:12We went to the back of the one house and there were actually footprints going up.

00:19Wow, I can't believe she jumps across that.

00:21There was actually a way for us to get in through the basement.

00:30She's not on the first floor.

00:35She's not on the second floor.

00:38She's got to be up on the third floor.

00:41It's okay. Will you go bye-bye with me?

00:47We are freezing up here.

00:49She was kind of timid and freezing cold.

00:52The whole back wall was missing.

00:54We've got to go all the way to the basement.

00:55It's going to be the easiest way to get out, okay?

00:57She was a little hesitant at first.

01:03I gave her just a little light tug and she started following me and we went down.

01:17Once we got to the Jeep, she was ready to jump to the car.

01:25She was so happy to be in that warm Jeep.

01:28It's kind of the best feeling to know that she seemed grateful.

01:33The aggressive pit bull mindset is just not true.

01:39They're the sweetest, most loving dogs.

01:41She didn't end up having an owner come forward or anything like that.

01:48It was really nice to know that she was now safe and warm.

01:52Then you see her get adopted and the adopters send you photos of her on a nice warm couch with somebody.
