00:00Minister of Education Dr. Nyan Gadsby Dali wants New Wave Automotive to pass
00:05on to children its inspirational story which was shared at the launch of its
00:10new service center in San Juan. For this purpose she highlights the adopter
00:14school program under her ministry. I would be so happy Michael to have our
00:20young people hear of your story, visit because adopter school is not just
00:26about giving money to schools, it's about giving time, it's about giving the
00:31effort of showing young people what is possible and an example like this will
00:37be so important to a young boy who is interested in cars but never saw the
00:43possibility of this type of enterprise and can understand what hard with the
00:49excellence that hard work can bring. The pitch was made to managing director of
00:54New Wave Michael Seeley. The minister states that it is important to the
00:58development of education saying it can inspire a lot of young people who are
01:03hoping to one day start their own business. I'm seeing how the growth comes
01:07from one office, one employee, 12 cars to what it is today. This is so valuable for
01:15our nation. Our young people need to hear stories of resilience, building and
01:22success. They need to understand that their interests can also lead to
01:29something like this but what does it take? Hard work, determination, getting up
01:34when you fall down, vision. Dr. Gadsby-Dawley also notes the program in
01:40schools for volunteered mentorship as another avenue whereby young ones can be
01:45inspired. Alicia Boucher, TV6 News.
