00:00She was going to give birth any minute.
00:02Her breathing was super labored.
00:05She seemed really uncomfortable.
00:06If you don't put a house, the dogs will die in the cold.
00:22When she arrived at my house, she would not leave the bed.
00:27I'm going to go make you some food and get some water.
00:31I literally had to physically drag the entire pen outside of my garage to go use the bathroom.
00:39Come on, sweetie.
00:39Come on, Nala.
00:41I know you got to pee.
00:42Come on, baby.
00:45We had to lure her out with some food.
00:48But now she's seeing the light of day.
00:52Good morning.
00:56How's your belly doing?
00:58Oh, mama.
01:00Oh, mama.
01:02Okay, I'm going to go get your food.
01:05Just about a little over a week, she came over to me on the couch and just put her head
01:10on
01:10my lap and was kind of looking at me as a source of comfort.
01:14And so that was when I was like, this is my girl.
01:16She ended up giving birth to 10 babies, unfortunately.
01:21We slowly started losing the puppies.
01:24Because Nala was so malnourished, they just didn't really have a good chance of surviving
01:29once they were born.
01:34We ended up really focusing on her one strong puppy.
01:39Good job, mama.
01:41Yeah.
01:44His name was Mufasa, and my goodness, he was a little firecracker.
01:52She was an amazing mom.
01:54Mufasa was a handful, you know, and I think that after a while she was just like, you know
02:00what, you're good.
02:01I know you're going to make it.
02:03I'm going to start watching my novellas.
02:07That was when Nala did discover the TV.
02:11We have literally shown her big screen TV.
02:17She's had the iPad.
02:20She's had the iPhone.
02:26I feel like a mom because I'm like, you're too close to the TV.
02:29You're going to ruin your eyes.
02:33Then she kind of started figuring out how to change things.
02:37I'm not even joking.
02:37She would like go up to it and touch it with her nose and it would skip to the next
02:42video.
02:46So if there was a video she didn't like, she would just keep going like that.
02:51It was great.
02:53We were able to find the most amazing, perfect family for Mufasa.
02:59Good morning, you guys.
03:03She realized like, okay, I can live this hot mom summer now.
03:07Then she was totally fine after that.
03:12Good girl, Nala.
03:13Good girl.
03:20That's when I was like, you're with the family you belong with.
03:24She honestly has totally leveled out the energy of my pack.
03:31She's like the older, calm mama that looks out for everybody.
03:38She fit in so perfectly that I couldn't imagine her in any other home.
03:43She belonged with us.
03:44Now she gets to live out the rest of her life in paradise.
