00:00In the beginning, Grace didn't act or seem like a normal puppy.

00:09Grace's original owners were sold a very sick puppy.

00:14The animal pad was contacted when they could no longer afford any treatment.

00:19The first night Grace was with us was honestly a little bit shocking.

00:23She was a puppy with like no energy.

00:26She just laid in our arms and would whimper and whine.

00:33We were up all throughout the night with her.

00:38She was incredibly underweight.

00:41She never seemed to want to eat.

00:43But doesn't she kind of look like a little bit better now?

00:47No. She needs to eat, babe. She's like...

00:51Okay, I know she's skinny.

00:52Yes!

00:54So whenever she ate, we were just her biggest cheerleaders.

00:59We were so proud of her.

01:04Whenever she would wag her tail, which was rarely, just made our day.

01:14We started finally noticing a little puppy energy from her.

02:08However, she has some long-term effects that will always be with her.

02:13She has a little bobbing, ticking head that is pretty constant.

02:18And she'll live with that.

02:28It's so crazy to see how strong and such an amazing dog she is now.

02:35And she's just grown so much since then.

02:41I just feel extra bonded to Grace.

02:59Me and my family were by her side, getting her through these lows.

03:03So seeing her just be a happy dog full of life now is incredibly rewarding.
