No One Wanted This Puppy Covered In Flies

When this unwanted puppy covered in flies was found, she was about to give up. But, wait to see what she looks like just a few weeks later

00:00She wasn't moving, she was just a little ball and she was so thick with flies.

00:06So then she shook her head and I was like, oh my gosh, I felt it actually alive.

00:09How long has it been like this?

00:13When I walked up to her, I was expecting a little bit of aggression, a little bit of reaction.

00:16I touched her and there was nothing, she was completely calm.

00:20I think she'd already given up.

00:23And I looked at her gums and they were ice white, like gone, gone, gone.

00:27The white of the gum is a really bad sign.

00:31So we did warn the owner, you know, we'll try our best but she might not come back.

00:38And there wasn't much anger, it was a very, very poor family.

00:42Most likely it was a dog that wandered in and they tried to feed it.

00:52At one point she stood up and her legs collapsed under her, it was like a little baby giraffe.

00:57So we picked her up and she was just limping.

01:06And Tinka and about 50 flies came all the way back to play with us.

01:16Tinka spent about two weeks at the vet.

01:21And then the next time I saw her after the vet, it was like a little mini collie,

01:24little underbite, so cute, almost unrecognisable.

01:28Her mum now had watched Tinka's video.

01:30She'd seen something in Tinka and she was like, that's my dog.

01:35Now she's such a lively, fun, happy dog.

01:38And I actually don't think she even remembers the past life.

01:41She could be a model.

01:42It's like they live in the moment and that's why they recover.
