The West Indies suffered a gut wrenching defeat to England today in the second One Day International in Antigua. Windies posted 328 for six from their 50 overs with a century from Shai Hope. In reply, his opposite number Liam Livingstone finished not out on 124 to lead his team to a five wicket win.

00:00West Indies were sent in to bat and they lost two early wickets. Brandon King went
00:05with the score on seven and Evan Lewis got out as well for four. West Indies got
00:10the recovery they were looking for from Kessie Carthy and Shea Hope. Carthy took
00:15his time and played well for his innings of 71. Hope warded with the bat until he
00:20came into his own. He almost batted through the innings with a top score of
00:24117. The fireworks came from Shefane Rutherford. He had scored a half-century in his
00:31last four innings and he did so here again. Today he made 54.
00:36Ruston Chase was not out on 20. Such an unorthodox area to score but boundary
00:43nonetheless. In reply the Windies got two early wickets as well. Will Jacks made 12 and
00:50Jordan Cox four. Phil Salt played a runner ball 59. Jacob Bettel added 55.
00:57However the hero of the day was Liam Livingston. Their captain shared in a
01:01vital partnership with Sam Curran as they took the attack to the Windies
01:05bowlers. Livingston ending on 124 not out from 85 balls. Curran fell just before
01:12the end on 52. England reaching 329 for five and shocking the hosts with 15 balls
