00:00Congratulations, this is an incredible film.
00:02Were you intimidated at all about coming on to a project like this?
00:05Um, no, I wasn't intimidated. No, I was very excited. I was very excited. Or maybe I
00:12interpret intimidation as excitement. I don't know. But I was, it was all very,
00:19it was like to have the chance to work with Jaco Diar, one of the most groundbreaking
00:24filmmakers working today, and a legend, you know, of European and French cinema.
00:29And with these amazing actresses, you know, who are my family today, a movie, a French movie in
00:36Spanish, Mexican story, all full on Latin American cast, Selena going back to her
00:45Mexican American roots, like getting back her Spanish doing such a beautiful job.
00:50We are characters falling in love and having all that tenderness and all their violence at the
00:56same time. You know, it was amazing. It was amazing. It's a movie that is that is filled
01:01with contradictions. And I think that that's what defines us as human beings. That's what
01:05defines our nature. Yeah, you got to do a duet with Selena. I had no idea I was going to
01:13not have a little moment at being like a micro pop star next to Selena. That was very cute. It
01:20was very cute. And she was it was it was a real it was a real. It was a real pleasure to work with
01:26her. She she she's so open, so strong and so fragile, so vulnerable. At the same time, it was
01:34really beautiful. It was beautiful to see. And and we all felt we both felt so safe with each other.
01:40And I think that that shows on the film, like the trust that we had in each other. And it was a
01:46beautiful love story in the middle of all this, this this intensity. Yeah. Would you do another
01:51musical film like this? My next movie is a musical film. So I'm very excited. Anything you can tell
01:57us? Not yet. Not yet. But soon.
