All hail the Kings!

This as St. Lucia Kings clinched their maiden title after beating last year's winner Guyana Amazon Warriors by six wickets in Sunday's final at the Providence Stadium.

The Amazon Warriors made 138 for 8, with Noor Ahmed taking 3 for 19.

In reply, the Kings were struggling at one stage, before Aaron Jones with an unbeaten 48 and Roston Chase with 39 not out took them to 139 for 4 in 18.1 overs.

01:41conceded 27 runs in that over and the Amazon Warriors were under immense pressure. Then
01:49Jones scored 20 runs in the following over with Pretorius being pummeled. With one to win it was
01:59an anticlimactic finish as a wide from captain Imran Tahir did the trick. The St. Lucia Kings
02:04reached 139 for four from 18.1 overs to win by six wickets. Jones was unbeaten on 48 of 31 balls
02:12while Chase made 39 not out of 22 deliveries. Then came the unbridled celebrations as the players
02:19were in their glee. St. Lucia Kings are the 2024 Republic Bank CPL champions this being their
