Trinbago Knight Riders took care of St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots by seven wickets in their Republic Bank CPL match on Sunday evening in Tarouba.

The Patriots were playing for pride and got to a reasonable score of 193 for 4, with 93 from skipper Andre Fletcher.

In reply, Nicholas Pooran, who was dropped four times, struck an unbeaten 93 off 43 balls to take TKR to 197 for 3 in 18.3 overs, which is a record chase at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.

00:07the first wicket by having Evan Lewis caught by Dwayne Bravo for two. Kyle
00:11Mears joined captain Andre Fletcher and he played some quality shots during the
00:15stand of 99. The southpaw from Barbados brought up his half century in style of
00:22just 18 balls. Mears was out for 60 followed by Riley Russo for 20.

00:35Willow in hand. The Spice Man top scored with 93 embellished with four fours and
00:43six sixes. He fell to Chris Jordan who took two wickets in the innings. The
00:47Patriots made 193 for four from their 20 overs. When TKR responded Jason Roy and
00:54Casey Carty opened the innings. They put on 43 before Carty was caught by
01:00Lewis of Mears for 13. In came Nicholas Puran who smashed his first
01:08delivery for a boundary. His partner Roy was going ballistic and got to his
01:16half century in style.
01:19And that's a belligerent 50. The two put on a partnership with 73 runs for the second
01:24wicket. Oh dear. He's been dropped. Roy was caught behind for 64 of 34 balls
01:30giving Tabrez Shamsi the scalp. Puran lived a charmed life being dropped
01:36quite a few times. Another chance to get Puran. Will they take this one? No they
01:41will not. Tim David wasn't that fortunate as he was caught in bowl by Anrich
01:45Nokia for nine. The Patriots paid for their faux pas with Puran making sure
01:50that the opposition would end the season with a solitary win. He finished on 93
01:54not out of 43 deliveries with six fours and seven sixes. TKR reached 197 for
02:01three from 18.3 overs to win by seven wickets and they remain in fourth
02:06position.
