Defending champions St. Lucia Kings defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors by four wickets in Gros Islet last evening.

The Amazon Warriors made 202 for 6, with Romario Shepherd getting 73 not out off 34 balls.

In reply, the Kings got to the target with 11 balls to spare.

00:00Looking to make it three from three, Guyana Amazon Warriors chose the bat against defending champions St. Lucia Kings at the Darren Sammy National Stadium.
00:08Australian cricketer Ben McDermott gave his side a decent start.
00:16McDermott was out for 30, while opening partner Kevlon Anderson made five.
00:20The two were dismissed by Keon Gaston, with Tim David being the catcher on both occasions.
00:25Mohen Ali and Shimron Hetmeier then departed cheaply, with the latter being run out.
00:34Make that 78 for 5, with Shea Hope out for a sedate 23 of 27 goals.
00:42In came Romario Shepard and he provided parotechnics.
00:50He was severe on O'Shane Thomas, who was taking a beating.

00:58Giving Shepard good support was Iftikar Ahmed, as they scored 33 runs from the 15th over bowled by Thomas.
01:05Ahmed made 33, but Shepard went on to get 73 not out of 34 balls.

01:14When the St. Lucia Kings responded, Johnson Charles was out for 13 with Jairia Blades striking.
01:24In came Hakeem Oguist and he took over the show.
01:27That is one that will make the home fans jump for joy.
01:31Batting with him was Tim Seifert, who actually had to play second fiddle.
01:34That's because Oguist dominated the 87 run partnership with quality shots.
01:44Seifert made 37, but Oguist went on to get 73 of 35 deliveries.
01:50When Oguist was out, it was 140 for 4, with Blades taking his second wicket.
01:55Tim David then made a useful 25 of 15 balls.
01:59In the gap, one bounce, four.
02:02He was out to Gudakesh Moti, giving the bowler his second wicket.
02:06And Shepard does very well.
02:10In the end, the Kings reached 203 for 6 from 18 point run overs,
02:15with Captain David Wieser getting the win in style.
