Man dies after fatal Horfield stabbing incident

At approximately 3.45am, police received a call from a member of the public to report a man had been stabbed in Filton Avenue, Horfield.

00:16a man had been stabbed in Filton Avenue in Horfield.

00:21The man, understood to be in his late thirties, was able to get into a car and drive a short

00:26distance to Oakley Road before needing to stop, and a person he was with called for

00:32an ambulance.

00:34Police and ambulance crews attended the scene, with paramedics taking the injured man to

00:39Southmead Hospital.

00:40Sadly, he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

00:45Three men, all in their twenties, were arrested on suspicion of murder.
