00:00Police have launched a probe after suspected human remains were found in a field in Bristol.

00:10The body parts were discovered at a site in Emerson's Green in Bristol but have not yet

00:15been identified. Multiple emergency service vehicles including police and fire crews and

00:21police forensic van and an underwater search unit were at the site on November 5th. The

00:28force said it is not aware of any suspicious circumstances and that a forensic report

00:33is taking place to gather more information. Avon and Somerset Police said police are investigating

00:40the discovery of suspected human remains in the field in Emerson's Green. Officers were

00:46alerted just before midday on Tuesday November 5th. Avon Fire and Rescue said that they were

00:52called to support police at 2-0-9 on the 5th of November. The investigation is still ongoing.
