00:00On Everton, in terms of their situation, transfers, we've obviously discussed it's been quite
00:08an issue for them throughout the summer. They started with a few good deals and then it
00:12sort of petered out. They got a lot of that business done early on in the window. In terms
00:17of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, a player whose peak for Everton is fantastic for them, the fans
00:23love him. What's the sort of situation on his future and just generic transfers in general?
00:29Uncertain. I think Dominic Calvert-Lewin, until last year, his deal's on the table,
00:38still hasn't been signed. Will he be here before the transfer window closes? Look, Sean
00:46Ditey's been asked about him a couple of times now, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and let's just
00:51say he hasn't been on a charm offensive to keep him. He hasn't been saying the deal's
00:56there, we'd love to keep Dominic Calvert-Lewin. He's almost said if an offer comes in, every
01:02player has to price and Everton are in a situation now to turn down money. Look, from an FFP
01:09perspective, they would be making a lot of profit on Dominic Calvert-Lewin because he
01:14was brought in for, what, around £1m from Sheffield United. And if Everton lost him,
01:20I'm afraid he wouldn't be losing anything, really, on him. More than that, the money's
01:25worth, but this would be a really good financial deal for Everton. And if he stays the way
01:34he is, is he going to have his mind on his future? We know about his injury problems
01:41in the past couple of years. He's not going to want to go into a summer where he's free
01:46agent but he's injured because teams might not take the risk or he might not get the
01:51deal he wants. So, does he play within himself if he is to stay? On the other hand, what
02:02are his options? West Ham have signed a striker, Tottenham have signed a striker. Would he
02:09go to Arsenal where he would be a back-up? Man United have been mooted. Would he be playing
02:18there regularly? You've got Hoylands and they've signed Xherxey and Tony maybe they might come
02:23in for. It's an interesting one. With Calvert-Lewin, it really is. I don't think you could say
02:31if he'll stay or he'll go. In terms of other transfer options, I just said that he thinks
02:35it's unlikely they'll do any more business. I almost think he's just setting expectations
02:42of forever fans to prepare for the worst because we know they've grown five in so far but they
02:49still short in midfield. It might be busier and Sean Dyche is letting on to me towards
02:57the end of the winter.
