00:00Statements of President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel.

00:06We are very aware of the big danger of the unitary project that represents these islands

00:15and also the value of the pronouncement, of the daily pronouncement on Venezuela, which

00:22Venezuela is a leader of the international independence from the times of Bolivar and

00:28today they are facing a concerted campaign against it that searches for a coup d'etat.

00:39They have tried so many times under the excuse of discrediting the elections and on the other

00:55side they took for granted the violent and fascist stance from the opposition that denies

01:07to accept the winning of President Nicolás Maduro.

01:11Those stances, the warning that they wouldn't recognize other results than theirs, showed

01:20very early before the electoral results that there was coming a new phase of all previous

01:28coup attempts to overthrow a legitimate government by interfering.

01:41So those who didn't validate the results by a website that's, well the size cannot

01:57become something in a context, well Cuba, our homeland, our people, recognizes and admires

02:06this severe answer, the high democratic sense and the peaceful stance of President Nicolás

02:17Maduro and his team to respond to those coup d'etats attempts before the electoral chamber

02:31of the Supreme Court of Justice.

02:36So it is barely a few hours, the Supreme Court of Justice through, after an auditing process

02:45of the electoral results, issued a final judgment that confirms the victory of President Nicolás

02:55Maduro in the July 28th elections 2024.

03:02As it was suspected, the same radicals who didn't recognize the official results and

03:43in the streets of Venezuela.

03:46And so as even though those facts have been silenced by the opposition, by the opposition

03:54media outlets, by the West that served the empire, it is not the first time that the

04:01U.S. imperialism and the regional oligarchies showed rejection and content of the will of

04:11our peoples.

04:13It's not the first time that they try to defeat political processes against their interests

04:22because they favor the people.

04:25And so it is not possible to remain quiet ahead of these oligarchies and the imperialism

04:36and the assaults in communications against Venezuela.

04:42Today against Venezuela and tomorrow against any of our countries.

04:49Today they try to overthrow the legitimate power to be substituted by the forged documents.

05:05So they exacerbate and promote destabilization, which are the same without any proofs and

05:17clearly as an excuse to get the attention of their political failures.

05:23They try to delegitimate the popular movements in their countries with accusations and foreign

05:32interference.

05:34We said with absolute irresponsibility they are trying to come back, to make Venezuela

05:47come back to destabilization times and that we couldn't allow that.

05:53We cannot allow that.

05:56The emancipating vision are the one that defends future and social justice for the sake of

06:04everyone.

06:07And on the other side they try to preserve Ichimoni and Bolivarian revolution is brave

06:16enough to confront those opposing sectors.

06:24So here in Tlacan, any imperial force or financed by Ichimoni make us reverse peace in the region.

06:44Brothers and siblings, on July 10th, 2024, we met at the ALBA-TCP summit to denounce

07:00the coup d'etat attempt against Bolivia.

07:03It was in 2019.

07:06We are here today to denounce the coup d'etat attempt against Venezuela and in favor of

07:16our unity.

07:17The 24th summit in December, in presence that we are going to meet in Havana, and I just

07:30invite you all to this summit, we will strengthen the commitment to the defense of peace and

07:38sovereignty and against interference of any nation in the internal affairs of our country.

07:52The oligarchies and imperialism want to attempt against the triumph of any popular force and

08:04they want to destroy the dreams reached in case they conquered the power.

08:12We denounced the harassment of imperialism, the offensive of oligarchies and the media

08:19manipulation for generating destabilization and promote a coup d'etat to defeat the Bolivarian

08:30Chavista government.

08:33Cuba condemns the aggression against Venezuela and rejects any attempt of violence and disruption

08:43of peace against the Venezuelan people.

08:50The blockade costs on its economy, so the imperialism imposes sanctions against those

09:04nations who don't subdue to their orders.

09:09So attached to the international principles and coexistence, Venezuelans are the ones

09:20who have to decide over their future and we won't be silent in front of all the abuses

09:29and those who we are, we backtapped the Venezuelan people with our partner Nicolás Maduro.

09:45So we will always support the peaceful, honorable and dear Venezuelan people who has been punished

09:57with unilateral, cohesive measures and amid adverse situations have managed with a lot

10:05of effort and work the economic emergence of the nation, unity and peace and decency

10:15of those peoples in revolution.

10:18Cuba that knows, respects and admires the civic unity of the Venezuelan people, trust

10:28that with that strength the people, the homeland of Bolivar, Chávez and Maduro will continue

10:35growing despite harassment.

10:40Always and ever onward to victory.
