Hayley Matthews was the star of the show for the Barbados Royals who defeated the Trinbago Knight Riders in their opening match of the Women's Caribbean Premier League. Matthews scored an unbeaten 67 as the Royals chased the 114 runs needed for victory to follow up a good effort in the field at the Tarouba Stadium.

00:52She stuck around long enough as TKR crossed the 100 mark
00:56More importantly they batted out the overs as they got to 113 for 9 of 20 overs

01:33Laura Harris stuck it out with Matthews who finished not out on 67 or 56 balls
