It was a rough night for the Trinbago Knight Riders, who slumped to their second defeat of the season going down by seven wickets to defending champions St. Lucia Kings at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.

It marked the Kings' third straight win over TKR at the southern venue, as their spin attack led brilliantly by Tabraiz Shamsi shredded the home side's batting lineup and powered the champions back to the top of the standings.

01:06Akeem Oguist joined Seifert and the two put on Forte for the 2nd wicket.
01:15Seifert was caught by Akeel Hussain of Uzman Tariq for 36 of 19 balls.
01:21Then Oguist was leg before to Narain for 28 giving the bowler his 2nd scalp.
01:26Roston Chase made 27 not out while Tim David hit an unbeaten 17 to take them home.
01:35St Lucia Kings cantered to 112-for-3 in 11.1 overs to hammer the Trinbego Knight Riders by 7 rickets and take top spot.
