00:05ambitious project to date, a comedic first-person shooter game called High on Life that took the

00:11colorfully crass brand of comedy that made Rick and Morty a massive hit and incorporated it into

00:16arguably the most creatively absurd video game of the year. High on Life quickly hit the top of the

00:21sales charts on both Xbox and Steam. Then in January of 2023, Justin Roiland's career and

00:26reputation hit an all-time low. When news that Roiland faced felony domestic abuse charges opened

00:32the floodgates on a series of allegations against the animation magnate, Roiland resigned from his

00:37position at the head of Squanch Games that same month. But Deadline has just reported that Curb

00:41Your Enthusiasm actor J.B. Spoof will produce and possibly star in an animated series adaptation of

00:46High on Life through his studio Alternate Side Productions. In the Deadline announcement,

00:50Roiland's name is conspicuously absent from the long list of producers and creatives already

00:55attached to the High on Life series.
