Here's today's Derbyshire Times video bulletin.
00:03
Three people have pleaded guilty to the false imprisonment of a teenage boy in a Derbyshire village.
00:09
Thomas Brown, aged 27, Heather Hart, 22 and Connor Wheelhouse, 24,
00:14
entered their guilty pleas during a hearing at Northampton Crown Court.
00:18
The 15-year-old boy is believed to have been coerced into selling Class A drugs for the group for several days
00:24
leading up to the incident which took place in February.
00:27
He had arranged to meet up with members of the group in Pinkston to hand over cash and drugs,
00:31
however they claimed that he owed them money.
00:33
The boy was threatened and the officers were alerted by the boy's mother who reported that he had been kidnapped.
00:39
He was later found safe and well and an investigation was launched.
00:43
Thomas Brown of no fixed address, Heather Hart formerly of West Houses in Alfredton
00:48
and Connor Wheelhouse from Riddings are due to be sentenced at Derby Crown Court in November.
00:55
A campaign group from Chesterfield set up this year to clean up the town's parks
00:59
is hosting a free giant water fight this weekend.
01:02
Chesterfield Round Table's Great Water Fight will take place on August 24th at Stan Road Park between 1pm and 3pm.
01:10
The organisation, whose primary mission is to clean up local parks, has also begun to host family events such as this.
01:17
The event will be free entry and will include three water arenas for separate age groups.
01:22
This will include areas for infants and children with special needs,
01:25
another area for parents and children under the age of 13 and a third area for those who are over 13.
01:31
Organisers say they are expecting around 2,000 people to attend the event this weekend.
01:35
Their hope is that this will become popular enough for the Great Water Fight to become something the group hosts annually.
