The awaited Olympic Games Paris 2024 are only days away from kicking off with two and a half weeks of sports and many of these athletes are bristolians.

00:12half weeks of sports. There are loads of Bristolians to cheer for.
00:17These list of Bristolians include Kate Shorman and Isabelle Thorpe, who are synchronised
00:23swimmers. British synchronised swimmers Kate Elizabeth
00:27Shortman and Isabelle Thorpe were both born in Bristol in 2001.
00:32They met at Clifton High School at the age of 10.
00:35They then teamed up and became best friends, both in and out of the pool.
00:40The pair made the Olympic debut in the artistic swimming duet event in Tokyo 2020.
00:45Other athletes include Ben Jeffries, who was born in 1999 and is a 400 metre runner.
00:51And Lily Ousley, who is a hockey player, born in Bristol in 1994.
00:55And finally Lele Nann, who plays judo, and was born in Weston.
