00:01As a city Bristol always has loads on and a part of Bristol that is always very busy is Ashton Gate.
00:08Let's find out why. Bristol is gearing up to be a central stage when it comes to Women's Rugby World Cup.
00:15As it comes to Ashton Gate Stadium, hosting the quarterfinals this September,
00:20followed both semifinals on the 19th and 20th with a capacity of around 27,000,
00:27Ashton Gate will see some of the biggest matches in the tournament outside of London,
00:33meaning high-stake games, top international players and an electric atmosphere for fans in the stands.
00:41Beyond the pitch, Bristol is preparing a full celebration of Women's Rugby culture.
00:47A free fan zone will be set up at Bristol Amphitheatre on the Harbourside on Match Weekend,
00:52which is the 19th and 20th of September, showing all six of the knockout games hosted there.
00:59The fan zone programme includes live music, arts, interactive tri-rugby zones,
01:05community workshops and local food and drink vendors.

01:11For Bristol, this is not just about watching big games.
01:13It's also a chance to amplify women's sport in the city
01:17and bring people together from across the region to share in something historic.
01:22On the national level, the World Cup in 2025 is already smashing records
01:27from more than 375,000 tickets that have been sold for 32 matches across the eight host venues.
01:36The final set for Twickenham on the 27th of September is officially sold out,
01:41with 82,000 spectators expected, making it the most attended match in women's rugby history.
01:49For Bristol, this means packed stands, intense international competition
01:55and an opportunity to see the teams fighting for the world title stages right here in our city.
02:02Sticking to the theme of Ashton Gate, there is also their annual job fair coming this autumn.
