00:00Let's start with the weather and the golf course. Royal Troon on

00:06the Open Rotunda has been a frequent host of the Open

00:11Championship. It's Lynch style golf. It's on the ocean there

00:14in Scotland. Of course, weather will always play a factor.

00:18Keith, what we what are we expecting in terms of those

00:21conditions this week at the Open Championship? Ben, for this

00:26tenth return to Royal Troon and the Open Championship this

00:29summer, we're sitting on the west coast. So, we are open

00:32there to the Firth of Clyde or just the sea and the the links

00:35themselves especially the first six to nine holes run right

00:39along the shoreline and the weather already so far this

00:42week has been mild temperature wise anywhere from the high

00:45fifties to the low sixties and there's been a little bit of

00:48rain. It has been a very mild Scottish summer or spring so

00:52far with a ton of wet weather. So, the grass is extremely

00:55healthy over there. You better hit those fairways but more

00:57importantly, we gotta talk about the wind. There isn't

01:00going to be a ton of wind this week so far in the forecast.

01:02Now, we all we know that all of that can change in a heartbeat

01:06over there but what's most interesting is that the

01:08predominant wind usually runs from out of the northeast or

01:12out of the northwest down to the southeast which means the

01:15opening nine kinda plays downwind and then you play back

01:18into the wind coming home for the for the final nine. What's

01:22interesting is that they're predicting wind coming out of

01:24the southwest right off of the water which means that almost

01:27all of these holes are going to play with a crosswind. It's

01:30gonna be kinda wild. It's not what the guys would've expected

01:32if they played there in 2016 and it's definitely not, you

01:36know, something that they're that they're used to. You know,

01:38there's just not a lot of landmarks that to aim at when

01:41they go to hit and with having all these crosswinds and coming

01:44up with a game plan and then knowing that they need to adapt

01:47and adjust, it's definitely gonna favor the top players and

01:50the elite guys at the top of the board.
