00:08This visit comes amid scrutiny over allegations of mismanagement and corruption.
00:13A team of five officers from the Anti-Corruption Agency arrived at HRD Corp's office at 11.30
00:19a.m., Sinar Harian reported.
00:21It is believed that they seized documents linked to the findings in the Auditor General's
00:25report.
00:26The 2024 AG's report found that HRD Corp failed to carry out its responsibility to
00:31collect RM205.42 million in mandatory levies owed by 21,058 employers.
00:37HRD Corp also amended its Key Performance Indicator Goals for 2020-2023 without the
00:43approval of its Board of Directors.
00:45Meanwhile, the Public Accounts Committee revealed that the company's investment panel had
00:50not reported its investment activities appropriately to its Board of Directors.
00:55Levies collected were also used aggressively for high-risk investments, the committee said.
