00:00Human Resource Development Corporation has suspended three members of its top management
00:05following various reports flagging alleged mismanagement involving the trio.
00:09HRDCorp said the reports were released by Parliament's Public Accounts Committee, the
00:14Auditor General, as well as the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
00:19It added that this concerned the management of the government-linked company's unutilized
00:23levies, the acquisition of Menara Iklas, and HRDCorp's Equity Investment Management.
00:29HRDCorp said it also involved the recent discovery of a new core system which entailed a RM14
00:35million procurement that had seen a four-year delay after three unsuccessful user acceptance
00:40tests.
00:41HRDCorp CEO Shamir Aziz said HRDCorp will implement an internal investigation process that is transparent
00:48and conducted with integrity, with a clear mandate, scope, and terms of reference.
00:53Shamir said the investigation would include reviewing documents, financial records, and
00:57meeting minutes, as well as recording statements from the relevant officers.
