00:00Emergency services were called to a unit in Kingswood in Sydney's West just before 2pm
00:06yesterday with reports of a stabbing.
00:09They arrived on the scene shortly after to find a 21-year-old woman with two stab wounds
00:14to the chest and other significant injuries.
00:17Despite their best efforts to save the woman, she unfortunately died at the scene.
00:21Her flatmates were the ones who raised the alarm over what happened.
00:25Just before police arrived at the scene, a man, that man that was allegedly responsible
00:30was seen running from the complex and that sparked what was hours long of searching for
00:37that man.
00:38A manhunt that lasted until they found him in Penrith just before 7pm.
00:4221-year-old Jeremiah Tue appeared via video link in Penrith local court today where he
00:49did not apply for bail and was charged over that fatal stabbing of the 21-year-old woman
00:54in Kingswood.
00:55So he's been charged with domestic violence, murder and the pair.
00:59The police say that the pair were in a relationship at the time when he appeared via video link.
01:04He seemed to show little to no emotion when hearing the outcome.
