00:00So, because Suhakam doesn't have a big power, doesn't have the power to make laws,
00:07then Suhakam, Jas, if he speaks, he speaks like a village person.
00:12So I want him to speak like a village person.
00:18He has his role, he has his power, in the village, like a village person.
00:23Aside from the government, this check and balance thing, so that Suhakam can speak,
00:30and his speech has power behind it.
00:34There are laws behind it.
00:36The government needs a check and balance that will be made through Suhakam,
00:42so that the fundamental rights of all of us are maintained in our country,
00:50as the comrades have said, we are federalism.
00:55Don't do things that are not in accordance with the constitution.
00:59The banking area, royalties, Sabah, Sarawak, Terengganu, Kelantan,
01:04sometimes it's called royalties, sometimes it's not.
01:08Sometimes it's given, sometimes it's not.
01:11This is the third country, not the second class, but the third class.
01:18What I find interesting in Suhakam's annual report is the text of the Friday sermon.
01:24Allow me to quote a verse from Suhakam's annual report, page 14.
01:31Suhakam strives to produce the text of the Friday sermon
01:35that focuses on the fundamental human rights in the daily life of Muslims,
01:40as taught by Islam.
01:42Suhakam strives to produce the text of the Friday sermon
01:47that focuses on the fundamental human rights in the daily life of Muslims,
01:51as taught by Islam.
01:53After reading this statement, I had to read it over and over again
01:57to understand the things that I wanted to convey,
02:00because it has raised a lot of questions.
02:02Who is Suhakam? What is Suhakam's expertise and field?
02:06Who needs to point out who is in favor of the teachings of Islam?
02:10Does Islam not uphold the fundamental human rights?
02:13In fact, the history of Islam itself has proven
02:16that Islam is a religion that elevates the standards of humanity.
02:20This has been proven during the time of Jahiliyyah and the time of darkness.
02:24It eliminates the character of race,
02:26eliminates the discrimination against the poor,
02:30eliminates discrimination against women, and so on.
02:33The other thing that confuses me about the text of the Friday sermon
02:37is that it has a different perspective
02:39on the human rights between Islam and the West.
