00:10Negri Sambilan Islamic Religious Affairs Department Director Azri Abdullah said the woman was
00:15being investigated under Section 50 of the Negri Sambilan Sharia criminal enactment
00:20in 1992 for allegedly insulting or bringing disrepute to Islam.
00:24He said according to a review of the video, the woman was interacting directly with her
00:29followers at about 6.45 p.m.
00:32Burnama reported that the individual was seen openly eating and drinking during the live
00:36broadcast.
00:37Azri said the woman was released at 10 p.m. after her statement was recorded and advised
00:41the public, especially Muslims, to be mindful of religious sensitivities and uphold the sanctity
00:47of Ramadan by watching their conduct in accordance with Islamic teachings.
00:51A clip from the video had circulated on social media, showing the woman apparently drinking
00:56water while interacting with her followers during the TikTok livestream.
