00:08Redzuan Yusuf, alleging that Redzuan falsely claimed he engineered the backing which six
00:13opposition MPs gave Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in 2023. According to the writ of summons and
00:20statement of claims cited by FMT, Hamza is seeking RM100 million in general damages,
00:25aggravated and exemplary damages, as well as interest and costs. He is also seeking a
00:32retraction of the impugned statements and an unconditional public apology from Redzuan
00:37to be published across online platforms and Malay-language daily newspapers on approved
00:42terms. Hamza said Redzuan failed to apologize for statements published in Berita Harian on November
00:495, 2025, which he claimed were false, malicious and intended to tarnish his reputation as
00:55opposition leader and a senior Bersatu figure at the time. Among others, Redzuan is alleged to
01:01have claimed that Hamza mobilized the six Bersatu MPs at the time to support Anwar and more recently
01:07put pressure on Bersatu President Muhyiddin Yassin to resign.
