00:11 So tell me a bit about this place.

00:13 Well, in the middle of pandemic, we came with an idea

00:19 because we left here in Scotland since 2008.

00:24 However, we were moving also to Glasgow in 2016.

00:29 And yeah, and in the middle of pandemic, we were deciding to open

00:36 our first branch in Glasgow and with groceries and everything from Transylvania.

00:43 But it's a mix between like the whole parts in Romania.

00:50 Also, we have including like Hungarian products and everything.

00:53 What is Transylvanian food then?

00:55 Diverse, nice, religious culture and everything.

01:00 Yeah. And we've got like so many popular dishes like during the Easter,

01:07 Christmas, fasting periods, like lots of vegan options as well,

01:16 vegetarians and lots of meat as well.

01:19 Yeah, of course.

01:20 Pork, beef, lamb, buffalo as well, wild pork and mangalica.

01:30 Mangalica, it's actually a pork that doesn't have cholesterol and it's curly.

01:36 Looks like a sheep.

01:38 Was made by the party of Ceaușescu, the Communist Party, however,

01:46 and in a laboratory and all this stuff.

01:50 So, yeah, it's the type of pork that doesn't have cholesterol and everything.

01:57 And it's suitable for everyone.

01:59 See some of the food that we've got here.

02:01 What is all this?

02:02 So basically, yeah, this is the Victoria salami.

02:07 But this is from the company of Gabioti.

02:11 It's a bit different compared with the other ones,

02:13 because this one has like lots of meat and everything.

02:17 And it's a bit much to eat as well.

02:20 And it has included as well like mangalica pork.

02:25 As well, we've got like deer sausages here.

02:29 On this side, we have spring salami, which is like mixed meat.

02:36 We've got eggplants in here, salad, honey mustard, cheese, smoked cheese.

02:46 And here we've got buffalo cheese.

02:49 On this side, we've got pork scrunchies,

02:52 which are a bit different compared with other countries.

02:57 We've got as well tofu made in Romania and it's special for summer or fasting period.

03:05 Because during the Christmas, like before Christmas or Easter

03:10 or different occasions, we need to fast.
