Hi everybody, I'm just here at a footy carnival for all the schools here in the midwest and it's
00:05
just had me reflecting on the impact that a live sheep export ban will have in all of our regional
00:11
communities right across WA but not only WA but the impact that flows across regional Australia.
00:16
We all know that our businesses, our farms and the supply chain will be affected but the impact that
00:24
that a live export ban will have on our communities. The teachers, the nurses, the ability to hold
00:31
carnivals like this which are a great community pillar, the volunteers that are manning the
00:37
ambulances and marking the grounds and doing all the community stuff here, umpiring the games.
00:42
All of this will be for nothing if a live export ban is introduced and it will decimate our
00:50
regional communities. So make sure you fill out a submission and also make sure that you turn up on
00:57
Friday the 14th to be part of our Keep the Sheep rally at Muir Esk and let's keep the pressure on
01:04
the Albanese government to make sure that they stop their attacks on agriculture and they pull
01:11
this silly piece of legislation from the parliamentary agenda. Keep the Sheep.
01:17
Hi everyone, Biddy Murray here. Just please, please asking you to get your submissions in,
01:22
talk about your story, talk about this bill including the date, the way it's being pushed
01:27
through and what impact that will have on your business. There is an updated submission template
01:33
available so if you print that out, put your information in and email it through then that
01:38
is the way that we need to make sure our voices are heard in this process. Thank you.
