00:00 A London judge has ruled that Prince Harry will not be able to expand his privacy lawsuit
00:04 against a British tabloid to include allegations made against media mogul Rupert Murdoch and
00:09 Piers Morgan. After filing a lawsuit against UK tabloid The Sun's publisher, News Group Newspapers,
00:16 Prince Harry's lawyers were hoping to sue over claims that Murdoch and other top executives
00:21 were part of an effort to conceal and destroy evidence of unlawful information gathering.
00:26 The Prince alleges that he was targeted by journalists and private investigators working
00:30 for NGN. In March, he sought to amend his case to add new allegations, including that the Sun
00:36 ordered private investigators to target his now-wife Meghan in 2016. A London judge ruled
00:41 that allegations that Murdoch turned a blind eye to wrongdoing added nothing meaningful to claims
00:47 made against News Group Newspapers by the Duke. NGN has denied that any illegal activity took
00:52 place at the Sun. Following the judge's ruling, a spokesperson for NGN said the court thoroughly
00:57 vindicated their position. Harry, who's breaking royal tradition with his fight against the
01:01 tabloids and is the first in the family to testify in open court in over a century,
01:06 also has a pending case against British tabloid The Daily Mail. For more on this story, head to
