00:00I am John Totoro. I play Irving on Severance.
00:04My name is Irving B, and I also do Adam Scott's hair.
00:09My name is Mark S. Thank you for doing my hair, John.
00:13I'm Adam Scott, and today we'll be watching two of our favorite scenes from Season 2 of Severance.
00:20I do John's mustache.
00:30What are you doing? Mr. Milchak!
00:34Oh, hey!
00:34Turn on back, Mr. Milchak!
00:37What are you doing, man?
00:38Turn on, he's been an outie the whole time!
00:41How about the chief came back?
00:42Irving!
00:43Can we freeze for a sec?
00:45Yeah.
00:45That is... I haven't seen that in a long time.
00:48Yeah, that's pretty, uh, freaking cold.
00:50That is brutal.
00:51All these scenes, it's all the things that lead up to it, but I was worried about going down those rocks.
00:56I was thinking, well, we just have to slip.
00:59And someone could crack their head up.
01:01Well, I know that you're always so conscientious of whomever it is you're working with, but
01:09we've also talked a lot about safety on set and making sure that you're not getting hurt.
01:18We did it, like, in dance steps.
01:19I went through it.
01:20I was like, okay, now I'm going to go one, two, and then we'll go back, and then we'll
01:24go one, two, three.
01:26And then, you know, we were really, and she could hold on to me, and I could sort of steer
01:32her.
01:32Well, I love being outside.
01:38Yeah.
01:38I personally, for me, it's a beautiful, it's a beautiful thing.
01:43And because we had never been outside, really, it was really, it was a treat and a challenge.
01:49It was hard.
01:50We would take, like, an SUV up to a certain point, and then these snow vehicles up the
01:58rest of the way, all the way to the top of a mountain.
02:01Yeah.
02:01And they just had a series of tents to go down to shoot a scene and come back up and try
02:06to get warm in one of the tents.
02:07And we did that for, like, five weeks or something?
02:10Yeah, more than, I think a little.
02:11Six weeks?
02:11Yeah, we were up there for a while.
02:13It was a while.
02:15Mark, come on.
02:18Come on, Mark.
02:21We did so much of this running.
02:25Like, we were doing this.
02:26Why am I not surprised?
02:29Why am I not surprised?
02:31You look like you're in third grade, you know, running away from your, you know, your family.
02:39It's like, yeah, so it's really.
02:41I think everything was, it's such an unstable moment for everybody.
02:46Right.
02:46Like, these people do not, they're all in, like, such wholehearted distress.
02:52Yeah, I have to say, some of your acting in that section, but before you run with her,
03:00go with her, it's like some of my, I really feel like you're, like, on another level.
03:06Like, you reduce state, like, what was left of you.
03:09It's really good.
03:10Thanks, man.
03:11Really good.
03:12I mean, that's like, that's really wonderful acting.
03:16And this shot, the last shot, we did this run.
03:23How many times?
03:24I don't know.
03:27But we were, Britt and I both were just so wiped at the end of this.
03:34And we had to do these looks while we're running.
03:37Right.
03:38And we had to do a bunch of different versions of looking at each other, like, unsure or, like, completely in love.
03:45Or, you know, we tried everything.
03:48And so we were wiped out.
03:51It was really fun.
