00:00In 2010, when Labour were in government, there were 56 children's centres throughout the

00:08whole of Derbyshire. The decision that's going to be made today will leave us with

00:12just 12. I think this is a false economy, because the paper admits that by withdrawing

00:18our early years intervention, children in two or three years' time will be falling

00:23into crisis and they will need our help. It is a false economy. At the moment, Derbyshire

00:29has record numbers of children in care, 1,070. This could lead to more children having to

00:37come into our care.
