Arts, Antiques and Vintage Collectibles event at The Compound, Bexhill Road, St Leonards on April 6 2024. James Braxton, well known antiques TV personality, was the special guest at the event and is featured in this video.

00:00 I'm here at the compound in Hastings, a fabulous initiative started by Baz who has

00:08 created this amazing sort of arts creative workspace. Today I'm here with an antique

00:14 hat on, they've got a little antiques fair which is lovely, lots of lovely goods. Hastings,

00:21 something Hastings needs, it's a shared space where artists can come together.

00:25 So we're having a really lovely art day today where we've got some antiques and beautiful

00:31 sort of flowers and plants and pre-loved goods for sale. It's to showcase the compound and

00:39 all the things that we do here. We're holding adult events where you can come and learn

00:45 with classes and we've got children's events and clubs.

00:51 My boys came to Hastings eight years ago and started Brewing Brothers opposite Morrisons

00:57 in the Queens Road where they made the most fabulous pizzas. Now they're at the courtyard.

01:02 Hastings has been very kind to them and I'm sure Hastings will be very kind to the compound.
